SOOLDOGA
술도가
Sooldoga means “the house that brews alcohol” in Korean — a place where brewing, sharing, and learning come together.
Founded in London, Sooldoga is the first Korean Makgeolli brewery and workshop space in the UK, bringing the art of Korean fermentation to life.
We handcraft fresh Makgeolli using Korean rice, Nuruk (Korean traditional yeast), and time-honoured fermentation methods passed down for generations.
Each batch is naturally fermented, unfiltered, and alive — creamy yet non-dairy, sparkling, and full of character.
At SOODLOGA, brewing is more than a process — it’s a cultural experience.
Our team shares the stories, techniques, and traditions behind Korean rice wine, inviting guests to brew, taste, and discover together.
Supplying Michelin-starred restaurants and five-star hotels, we also host regular workshops and tasting events, connecting people in London with the warmth and authenticity of Korean brewing culture.
SOOLDOGA is where tradition meets community — a living brewery that bridges the distance between Korea and London, one glass of Makgeolli at a time.

🥂 How We Brew
We brew Makgeolli by hand, using only rice, natural yeast, and patience.
Each batch ferments slowly, unfiltered and alive — capturing the true taste of Korean tradition.
🌏 Where We Are
Located in the heart of London, SOOLDOGA connects Korea’s brewing heritage with the city’s vibrant craft culture.
The location is few-minute walking distance from Elephant & Castle station, 29 Bath Terrace SE1 6PS.
🍶 What We Offer

🧭 Our Philosophy
